“Hi” From Me, Bronwyn,

Your Down-to-Earth Guide to the Woo

In my early adult years, I was no stranger to an aesthetically-pleasing crystal, a mandala, or an incense stick.  But the idea of putting my full faith in hippy practices as a legitimate means of healing was far from my mind.  I was a nurse, after all.  My job was all about logic and scientific theory.

It took so much for me to even try natural healing.  But I was left with no choice.  Life was stuck, and I couldn’t see how it could be better without a different type of help.  Something that would help me long-term.

Don’t misunderstand me here, I would never go so far as to say that any natural practice is a cure for illness or injury, in many cases, Western medicine will always be the right choice.  But I’m confident in saying that practices such as reiki are a perfect accompaniment to modern medicine, even boosting its effects.

The NHS are aware of its potential and train certain staff in reiki to provide healing that goes beyond physical illness and helps to balance our internal energy and spirit too.

When I say spirit, don’t think I’m going all religious on you.  Spirit doesn’t have to mean God.  It can mean whatever you want it to; maybe a universal truth, or guiding energy, even guardian angels if that’s your thing.  To some, spirit simply means that feeling of calm and balance that they get when everything feels completely in flow, and life seems easy.  That’s the sort of spiritual balance that alternative healing has proven to bring.

Natural healing brings a feeling of peace.

But not just anyone can pop a massage table in their house and start waving their hands around whilst pretending to be a reiki master.  I have earned reiki levels 1, 2, and reiki master certifications, a reiki science certified practitioner, as well as a diploma in reiki which allows me to deliver sessions in an NHS setting.  Yes, they are very real, nationally recognised qualifications. Some are even recognised globally.

I didn’t just stop at mastering reiki on my natural healing journey.  The arts intrigued and impressed me so much I completed courses in crystal healing, and holistic health coaching too (encompassing Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, Macrobiotics, longevity diet principles, cooking and fermentation, tonics and elixirs, barefoot doctoring, and more).  Yep, I went ALL in to learn how to combine both the ancient natural and modern forms of healing to give you the best experience and results possible.

“Such a beautiful experience. Uniquely moving each time. I look forward to the next one.”
